To celebrate 25 years in business, Radical has announced a rebrand to Radical Motorsport, revealing a new company logo and an all-new customer merchandise range.
The new name – Radical Motorsport – and its branding reaffirms the company’s mission and purpose, moving from manufacturing a blend of road and race cars into the exciting world of motorsport and racing.
From its 1997 inception, Radical set out to create a customer-lead niche in the world of motorsport, a race-bred thrill-a-minute driving experience on the racetrack and road. Radical Motorsport has since grown to become the largest manufacturer of race cars in the UK and one of the most prolific in the world, with over 2,800 cars having been produced in the previous 15 years. 2021 represented its best year for production and sales, with more race cars built and sold than at any other time in the company's history.
The company is now represented by a 33-strong dealer network spanning 21 countries and offers customers a complete racing experience in 12 different single-marque championships around the globe.
Radical Motorsport’s championships comprise the world’s most iconic racetracks, and customers have the opportunity to join other Radical championships, in the ‘Race the World’ initiative.
The rebrand includes a new logo as well as an update for social media platforms, website, emails and other communication materials. Redirects for all electronic channels have been set up to ensure seamless communication.
In celebration of their rebrand and their 25th anniversary, Radical Motorsport has also announced a brand-new merchandise line that is now available for Radical fans and members of the Radical community to order online.
Group sales and marketing director, Dan Redpath commented: “We believe that the Radical community has grown so much since the company’s inception 25 years ago, and it’s no longer just about the [race] cars.
“We are the largest race car manufacturer in the UK and the second largest globally, and we also have an unparalleled community of drivers, mechanics, teams, and supporters who are racing around the world almost every weekend of the year. We have numerous initiatives underway to grow the company and the brand, with today’s rebrand and the launch of the customer merchandise range as part of this wider strategy.”
