Three more of flood prevention specialist M3 Global Flood Technologies Ltd’s flood protection products have been awarded the British Standard Kitemark BS851188.
Its latest products to have achieved the standard include the PVC Defender Double Patio Flood Door, Defender Flood Windows, and the Defender Barrier.
This follows the BS851188 Kitemark being awarded to other M3 products, which include its PVC Door range, Windows, Airbricks, and Airbrick and Vent Covers.
M3 has also added its Composite Anti-Flood doors and Timber Anti-Flood Doors to its Kitemark approved range of flood products in recent weeks.
All testing was carried out by the British Standards Institution [BSI] over March and April this year and will be followed by further Kitemark tests on a range of other M3 products over the coming weeks.
M3 Managing Director, Peter Marchant, said that the awarding of the Kitemark reaffirms his company’s commitment to provide a full range of independently tested flood protection products to the UK market.
Marchant told The Parliamentary Review: “The introduction of the new British Standard sets goals that suppliers must reach, and more customers are now insisting on Kitemarked products. Our commitment to supplying Kitemarked products is absolute.
“Our vision is to continue to provide world-class flood-defence protection to the general public, business owners, local authorities and councils, housing associations, infrastructure providers and operators and the Environment Agency at an affordable price and, above all, to offer an unparalleled level of customer service. Our drive is to develop intelligent and passive systems that provide solutions to dealing with flood situations faced by people all over the country.”
