Hospitality business Becketts Southsea has made significant strides over the last year, and it has added to its recent success having now been singled out for recognition by bimonthly luxury lifestyle magazine LUXlife, which awarded the business its Hospitality Experience of the Year Award for the Hampshire region in its fifth annual Hospitality Awards.
Becketts and the other winners, which were selected from the list of nominees by an unbiased internal panel of diverse individuals from various fields, will be showcased in a digital winner’s magazine published by LUXlife.
Becketts Southsea has demonstrated excellence and commitment throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and can count the award as the latest in a string of achievements over 2020 which have helped make the business the toast of Portsmouth.
The Hospitality Awards were borne out of LUXlife’s acknowledgement that the work of many businesses which is vital to the industry was not being sufficiently recognised and rewarded. The Awards are designed to reward and recognise the firms and the individuals behind them that have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to achieve industry leading success, client satisfaction and market growth.
LUXlife commits to recognising everyone across the hospitality space regardless of size or geography, from hospitality management to public relations, tour operators, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, marketing services, events, and recruitment, and more.
Through the 2020 awards, LUXlife has sought to support and reward the individuals and businesses that have gone above and beyond for clients and customers through such unprecedented times.
Becketts general manager Terence Carvalho commented: “2020 has been such a difficult year for the hospitality industry. No event has impacted the sector like Covid-19 and it has hit businesses and individuals across the world, but Becketts has risen to the challenge and we are indebted to all of our staff who have helped make our success possible.
“This award is deserved recognition for all the hard work they have put in over the last few months.”
