OpenEdge is a business application development language that offers several choices for firms looking to optimise and modernise their platforms to address the demands of customers today and ensure they continue to do so in the future.
To demonstrate this, IT and digital transformation specialists JKTech and OpenEdge have collaborated with two of their client businesses - namely AFB and DPD - and the quartet of companies are to host a webinar on January 20, 2022.
Starting from 13:00 GMT, the webinar will allow for AFB and DPD representatives to discuss how their businesses have approached their modernisation and digital transformation journeys.
The webinar will also cover wider topics, including how firms can upgrade to the latest version of Progress OpenEdge to ensure a robust, high performance, scalable and secure environment.
JK Tech’s representative speaker on the call, Karthik Balasubramanian, will be discussing his company’s 4R Innovate© modernisation framework, which will offer significant benefits in terms of faster execution and lower total cost of ownership [TCO].
Balasubramanian will be accompanied on the webinar by Progress & OpenEdge’s Conor Patten; AFB’s IT development lead Andrew Jones; and DPD Ireland’s chief information officer Colin Kennedy.
The four speakers will also cover further topics during their respective presentations, such as how companies can consider re-hosting from on-premise to cloud and the associated benefits, and how to modernise customer journey, Omni Channel Experience and user interface.
JK Tech’s senior vice president and business lead for the UK and Europe, Ram Kumar commented: “With keynote speakers such as Colin Kennedy and Andrew Jones, sessions like this are certainly worth attending.”
