Blossom Home Care Durham, part of the multi award-winning Blossom Home Care brand, marked its one-year anniversary back in February 2022 and is looking ahead to a prosperous future.
Since launching in February 2021, the Durham branch of Blossom Home Care has delivered 12,500 hours of care to residents across County Durham and Teesside.
The Chapman family who run the Durham franchise have seen the business truly bloom since its launch, and they now oversee a team of more than 20 carers who deliver care and support which helps service users live independently in their own homes.
Bobbie Chapman, one of the franchise owners, commented: “Blossom Home Care Durham offers care to adults with home care needs. Working with our registered manager and a great team of carers, we enable the people we care for to remain living in their own home for as long as possible.
“Blossom Home Care’s holistic approach to care ensures we fully meet client needs and the 50-minute minimum visit time also means carers have the time to interact with clients and do all the things that really matter to them and us.”
The feedback following Blossom Home Care Durham’s first year in operation has also been positive. One client wrote on social media that its care team was comprised of “amazing people who showed compassion to my brother during his final months.”
The client added: “Nothing was too much trouble; all the team went the extra mile. The team know what care truly means. If you have these guys looking after you, you are in good hands. Can’t sing their praises highly enough.”
The satisfaction also filters down to the staff workforce. One carer who works for the Durham branch wrote on their social media account: “I am currently working for Blossom Home Care. I have worked with many companies in my 11-years’ experience, and I can honestly say that I’m proud to be part of this growing family. I would 1000 per cent, without a doubt, trust them with any of my family because they are absolutely fantastic and go that extra mile for anyone that they provide care for.
“It wasn’t easy getting my job because, unlike any care company that I have worked for, they made sure that I was what they were looking for because they actually care. I’m proud to be part of Blossom Home Care Durham.”
The Blossom Home Care Durham team is now three months into its second year in business and is ready to seize upon the opportunities ahead. All at The Leaders Council would like to wish the entire team a congratulations on their first year in care provision and the best of luck going forward.
