The Caldecott Foundation holds annual Achievement Awards evening

In October, the Caldecott Foundation – a specialist care and education provider to vulnerable children and young people – held its 2022 Achievement Awards evening which saw more than 100 staff members attend.

Hosted in the newly refurbished Leila Rendel rooms at the Caldecott Foundation’s site in Ashford, Kent, the awards showpiece was the charity’s first major event since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Managing director, Nick Barnett, commented: “We were very proud to recognise our teams’ achievements and acknowledge that at this time, eight out of 10 services are rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted with two rated as ‘Good’.

“Our colleagues from fostering, children’s homes, schools and support services have shown such commitment, dedication and love to the children and young people we are so fortunate to look after. This was an opportunity to thank some of them. We also acknowledged our colleagues that couldn’t attend as they were with our children.

“We are so grateful to D&D Autos, GPH Recruitment, 3rs Limited, Business Technology Systems, Britcab UK Cabins, Sarah Ryan and Zoe Roberts for their kind donations and contributions towards this event.”

Children from the Caldecott Foundation contributed to the awards evening, with a Young Person’s Choice category of award up for grabs.
