It has been a successful first half of 2021 for sustainable building materials provider OCL Regeneration, having announced the opening of two new facilities and been awarded a new ISO 9001 surfacing accreditation.
One of the firm’s new facilities, a depot based at Micheldever in Hampshire, is available for asphalt and soil & stone disposal, as well as being able to dispose of asphalt waste containing coal tar.
The depot is equipped with onsite mixing facilities and a weighbridge so users can tip off materials and take away with easy access from the A303.
The opening of the Hampshire facility was first announced in May, while its second new site to be opened this year commenced operations at Malmaynes in Rochester from early July.
The Rochester depot caters for all aggregate recycling and is also permitted for the disposal of asphalt waste containing coal tar.
OCL Regeneration has confirmed that both sites will also supply recycled aggregate, cold lay asphalt and HBM on a supply or supply-and-lay basis.
The firm’s new expanded ISO 9001 accreditation covering the laying of asphalt was announced back in June, ensuring compliance with National Highway Sector Scheme 16.
Commenting on the new standard, managing director Stuart Gready said: “We’ve expanded our ISO 9001 accreditation to include the laying of asphalt in accordance with National Highway Sector Scheme 16. This helps us assure clients of the quality of our products and services in a more integrated way.
“We want to hear from customers who want highly sustainable asphalt alternatives installing by the same company who manufactured them, especially with the current pressures on traditional supply.”
