Rivertrace Ltd owner Michael Coomber has vacated his role as managing director of the business and been appointed to the new position of executive chairman.
The former operations director at Rivertrace, Martin Saunders, moves into the position of managing director in Coomber’s place.
Saunders will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the water-quality monitoring firm, with Coomber taking over a more strategic role within the business.
Responding to his promotion, Saunders said: “I am delighted to be appointed as managing director at Rivertrace Limited. (There are) challenging but exciting times ahead with digital, regulation changes and what the world decides to throw at us! Onwards and upwards!
“Thanks also to Michael Coomber for the opportunity.”
Coomber congratulated Saunders on his new role and tipped him to achieve “great things” at the helm of the business.
