Education and skills charity NOCN Group is to host a free to attend Health and Social Care Summit on May 11, 2022.
Running from 09:30 to 12:30 BST, the Health and Social Care Summit is targeted toward helping colleges, training providers and employers understand the various routes that can be taken to develop the skilled workforce of the future within the Health and Social Care sector.
At a time where the industry is facing severe workforce issues, the virtual event will focus on employability, health and social care qualifications, apprenticeships, and access to higher education as key discussion points.
Louise Allen, NOCN Group’s director of global business development and marketing, will be among the keynote speakers for the event, alongside NHS national programme manager, Lucy Hunte.
Allen boasts over 20 years of experience in strategic business development and possesses invaluable knowledge in creating new sales channels and partnerships and negotiating high value contracts.
Hunte meanwhile is passionate about apprenticeships and the idea of upskilling the existing workforce as a means of widening participation in the health and social care industry. She has worked in the training and education sector for over 20 years, including being active in the apprenticeship arena for the previous 10 years.
