We are delighted to announce that NIVD World has become a member of The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Founded in 2022, NIVD is a startup specialising in the development of nano-sensors for early diagnosis. The company supports the development and clinical validation of these innovative devices, with a focus on oncology and infectious diseases. NIVD aims to revolutionise the medical industry by providing personalised, multi-dimensional solutions for diagnosing and managing diseases.
The use of nano-sensors for early diagnosis has the potential to revolutionise the way that we diagnose and treat diseases, leading to better patient outcomes and improved public health.
In oncology, early detection of cancer is crucial for effective treatment and improved patient outcomes. With the help of nano-sensors, doctors can detect cancers at an earlier stage, which means that they can start treatment sooner and increase the chances of a successful outcome.
Infectious diseases can spread quickly and cause widespread harm. Early detection and diagnosis of these diseases is essential in order to contain their spread and prevent outbreaks. By using nano-sensors, doctors can quickly and accurately diagnose infectious diseases, allowing for early treatment and reducing the risk of an outbreak.
Nano-sensors are also more sensitive and specific than traditional diagnostic methods, which means that they can detect diseases earlier and with greater accuracy. This is especially important in the case of diseases that are difficult to diagnose, such as certain types of cancer or infections that may not show symptoms until they have progressed significantly.
As a member of the Leaders Council, NIVD will be able to attend our various online and in-person events, such as leadership training sessions, coffee mornings and sector specific roundtables. They will also be able to contribute to our special reports which often include commentary from serving MPs and Lords.
Upcoming events include an online Q&A with Leaders Council chairman Lord Blunkett and an in-person coffee morning with Lord Blunkett at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
