Member companies of the National Association of Air Duct-Specialists UK [NAADUK] have agreed to offer support to Ukrainians fleeing the conflict in their home country and finding refuge in the UK.
At the 40th meeting of NAADUK members which took place this week, industry professionals gathered to discuss key sector issues including NOS qualifications, how to raise the standards of industry competence and established a working group to address issues with fire and smoke dampers, and other business.
Some of the other business on the agenda of the meeting included frank discussions over the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and how the industry could possibly step in to help from a humanitarian perspective.
It was during this meeting the NAADUK member companies agreed to extend an offer of work to Ukrainians coming to the UK, and assistance with their accommodation.
Max Jakovlev, business development manager at Overclean, one of the member companies of NAADUK, commented: “I am proud to see NAADUK members standing in support of Ukraine. Member companies have kindly extended an offer of work to Ukrainian refugees and assistance with accommodation in what is a very difficult situation for them.”
All NAADUK members have to meet stringent criteria to be accepted into the organisation. They are trained, qualified and certified equivalent to TR/19, BS 9999, BSEN 15780 standards.
