Back in September, Moshon Data managing director Steve Boyle joined a panel of highway and vehicle safety experts to share insight into the need for and importance of vehicle safety technology.
The panel convened as part of the RoadSafe webinar series on 'Traffic Technology for the Safe System', hosted by Nick Reed, founder of Reed Mobility and chief road safety adviser at National Highways.
Alongside Moshon Data’s Boyle, some of the other panellists for this third webinar in the series included Thatcham Research director of research Matthew Avery; Karen Cole, director of road safety and rider training at MCIA UK; and Rajesh Darji, vice president at Bosch.
The panellists took part in discussing some of the ways in which new technologies are helping deliver safety improvements and will continue to do so into the future.
Rajesh Darji said: “It was a privilege to join Nick Reed, Matthew Avery, Karen Cole and Steve Boyle on the third RoadSafe webinar, where we discussed, among other things, the value of connected services in reducing accidents and fatalities, and improving user journeys and experiences.”
Steve Boyle commented: “It was a great opportunity to be involved with a group of such esteemed experts. The increasing safety of vehicles using driver assistance technology is making our roads safer and we should be aiming to make users understand and want to adopt this technology. Why wouldn't you want technology that prevents children from being run over?”
