Leaders Council Newsletter: Mind your own business

2 MINUTE EMAIL

Dear Leader,

Speaking at this year’s Davos conference, Nita Farahany, a Duke University technology ethicist, has outlined a near future where managers will be able to use wearable technology to read the signals inside their employees’ minds to determine whether or not they’re focussed on the task at hand.

It makes me suspect that Ms Farahany hasn’t spent too much time in an office environment. In my experience, you really don’t need to be a mindreader.

Upcoming:

On Thursday 23rd Feb at 12pm, we have a leadership webinar with Teresa Clark, founder of The Wellness Revolution, which is all about ‘cultivating a culture of wellbeing’.

Then, in March, we have not one, but two, events with Leaders Council chairman Lord Blunkett coming up for you.

The first is an online q&a on Wednesday 1st March at 12pm:
