Investors in People: Total Project Integration presented with Platinum Award

Project management and cost consultancy Total Project Integration [TPI] has received an Investors in People Platinum Award.

The business is a previous winner of the Investors in People Gold Standard Employer of the Year accolade, and has now been awarded with the Platinum Accreditation.

The Platinum Award is the highest achievable accreditation against the Investors in People standard, and was handed to TPI after the business successfully demonstrated its ongoing commitment to high performance through excellent people management.

Only nine other Investors in People accredited organisations within the industry hold Platinum standard, while two per cent of all Investors in People accredited firms across all sectors have achieved it, placing TPI among fine company.

The award was presented to Managing Director, Jane Hewitt [pictured, centre], at Total Project Integration’s staff conference, hosted at Oatlands Park Hotel in Weybridge, Surrey, the town where Total Project Integration is based.

Hewitt said: “We were honoured to be presented with our Investors in People Platinum plaque at the Total Project Integration staff conference.

“It was a truly momentous occasion with the Mayor and Mayoress of Elmbridge Borough Council, Councillor Tony Popham and Mrs Jo Wright; Investors in People Representative Mark Rook; Runnymede and Weybridge MP, Ben Spencer; and Runnymede and Weybridge Enterprise Forum Representative, Paul Girling, all in attendance.”

Expanding upon how TPI achieved the Platinum standard, Hewitt revealed that it was the fruition of seven years of hard work within the business.

“It is a remarkable recognition of Total Project Integration’s approach,” Hewitt said.

“It is a journey that started in January 2014, when Total Project Integration put people management and development firmly at the top of our agenda. This journey continues, and this specific milestone demonstrates Total Project Integration’s commitment to the ongoing development of excellent project managers and quantity surveyors. We are proud of our people and their achievements.

“We are also thankful to Investors in People for the recognition and to all those who celebrated with us.”

The remainder of the staff meeting saw TPI personnel engage in vital discussions around social and sustainability plans, with the key COP26 climate summit ongoing in the UK.

The meeting between world leaders in Glasgow, held from October 31 to November 12, has been widely covered and has prompted business leaders to think more seriously about how they and their firms can reduce the impact that they have on the environment.
