Entrepreneur, networker and business leader Avni Shah has been relishing her newfound responsibilities after having been appointed an ambassador for The Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
Armed with over 25 years of experience in B2B consultative business development and sales, Shah (pictured) is the founder of Inva Consult – a globally operating and disruptive management consultancy. Inva’s mission is to understand the challenges and problems that workplaces face and to contribute to closing the education, talent and digital gaps. This helps businesses make savings, unlock their potential and ultimately achieve growth.
Leaders Council ambassadors play a key role in highlighting opportunities for business owners, CEOs, company directors and a range of other leaders in their respective fields. After being handed her new role in October, Shah has been actively promoting the benefits of being a Leaders Council member to her network via LinkedIn and through various in-person business and networking events.
The Leaders Council offers a wide range of benefits that form part of the membership scheme. These include the opportunity to feature on influential podcasts addressing topical matters and issues in industry; featuring in breaking news articles; attending insightful leadership development webinars and enjoying access to in-person networking opportunities where one can engage with fellow members.
Leaders Council members must commit to a strict charter of principles, which decrees that members must maintain high standards and that they have a responsibility to share knowledge with others.
Shah commented: “It is a privilege to work with the Leaders Council and highlight some of the opportunities that it can offer. The Council puts leadership in the spotlight and enables authentic and inspirational leaders – who spend so much time and effort empowering others – to receive the recognition they deserve.
“Projecting the voices of those who are there day in day out working hard and inspiring others helps to lay the ground for the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs in this country and across the world. To me, this is what leadership is all about.”
