The government launched a £7 million fund last month to support the creation of more flexible apprenticeships opportunities across multiple sectors.
Sectors will be able to bid for a slice of the funding in order to support the development of new apprenticeships schemes that last at least 12 months.
The fund allows for the creation of agencies that will establish flexi-job apprenticeships, allowing participants to work across numerous projects as a means to gain new skills in a variety of occupations.
"We want to build an apprenticeship system that enables everyone to get the experience and knowledge they require to get the job they want, while ensuring employers have a diverse talent pipeline to meet their skills needs," said minister for apprenticeships and skills Gillian Keegan.
"Our flexi-job apprenticeships will unleash exciting new opportunities in sectors such as the creative industries and construction where employment is increasingly flexible and project-based, while also helping larger organisations to grow starts in their supply chains, levelling up chances for people to build the life they want."

Serving more than 3,000 adults, young learners and apprentices each year, the quality of training on offer was hailed its latest "outstanding" Ofsted report.
"Employers value the contribution that apprentices make to their business as a result of their apprenticeship training,” it read.
“Learners develop excellent skills for work that support them to gain employment or start their own businesses."
White Rose partnered with Ringwood Hall earlier this year to offer a new apprenticeship scheme, carrying out training with the therapists at Ringwood’s "Garden Secret Spa", located within the grounds of Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa in Chesterfield.
Principal Karen Lee-Cooke is proud of the reputation White Rose has developed and put it down to the hard work of her staff team.
"Everyone at White Rose Beauty Colleges collaborates tirelessly with industry and awarding organisations to influence and often lead the development of training and qualifications, to ensure learners are equipped with the skills to be successful and the very best in their chosen career," she wrote in a recent contribution to The Parliamentary Review.
