Independent UK-based engineering, consultancy and R&D company, ETD Consulting, is to host an online conference over October 11-13, 2022.

The conference is aimed toward providing an international platform for the exchange of knowledge, information, experience and data relating to power and process plant materials, inspection, monitoring and condition/life assessment issues.

The event is targeted at materials and systems developers, as well as plant designers, fabricators, operators and services providers. ETD Consulting has also issued a call to researchers and inspection companies to join the event and benefit from the information exchange.

The three-day conference will be hosted live from London over Zoom, and is to consist of roughly 30 full-length presentations spanning 25 minutes each.

Attendees will be able to ask questions at the end of each presentation, excluding the final three presentations taking place in the plenary session of the conference on October 13.

The three-day conference will commence on October 11 with introductory presentations from ETD’s Dr Ahmed Shibli and Fiona McHugh, who sit on the conference co-ordination team. Conference chairperson and plant integrity engineer, Katherine Asvegren of VPI, will also participate in the introductory session.

The conference proceedings will get underway at 08:00 BST over each of the three days, with attendees advised to log on for 07:45 BST. Daily proceedings will conclude each day between 14:00 BST and 14:30 BST.

Further information for individuals interesting in attending the conference can be found here.
