In Europe, the French government are urging more and more people to cycle after lockdown ends, with a 20 million euro scheme that will cover the cost of bike repairs under 50 euros.
Elisabeth Borne, the French minister for ecological transition, said the scheme was aimed at reducing the number of people who were driving to help ease pollution.
The German foreign minister, following "small steps" to ease the lockdown with local shops opening last week, has extended his department's warning against worldwide travel until at least June 14.
And Donald Trump has said that Beijing will do "anything they can" to help him lose his re-election bid.
