Atruchecks has announced that it now has partner clinics in London [five minutes from Heathrow Clinic], Bristol, Glasgow and Manchester to aid the collection of PCR swab samples for testing prior to passengers boarding a flight.
The service involves a throat and nose swab carried out by trained collection officers. The results have a 24-hour turnaround and are then emailed to passengers in the form of a travel certificate document.
Countries such as Cyprus, and Saudi Arabic have tough regulations and a tight ‘travel window’. Most other companies have a test turnaround between 48 and 72 hours, often with delays due to the high demand, which tends to result in disruption to travel plans.
However, Atruchecks delivers within 24 hours and works around the clock processing samples through the night and over weekends because there are countries such as Saudi Arabia that only have a 48-hour travel window.
Atruchecks has partnered with Eurofins Scientific to ensure that the airline industry can restart and to avoid passengers missing key life milestones.
Atruchecks CEO Laween Al-Atroshi commented: “We offered RT-PCR testing with results in 24 hours in order to help passengers make their crucial journeys. We have passengers who have had weddings planned, visiting a critically ill family member, or going back to work or home, so if we can help remove the stress in an already complex and challenging world, then we are ready to serve especially as some countries have very strict regulations such as Cyprus and Saudi Arabia. When I hear the excitement and joy on the phone when they are told they can fly it makes my day’’.
