The Maverick Group have appointed sports industry veteran, Nick Addecott, to lead their Sports & Entertainment division.
Addecott [pictured] joins the Group, bringing with him a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the industry, from setting up his own player agency Sanctuary Marketing, leading WSM Communications, and having enjoyed stints brand side at Wilson Sporting Goods, BetVictor and Sportingbet, before most recently leading sales and partnerships for SaaS fintech, Tappit.
Across a hugely impressive career, some of his recent notable achievements include multimillion pound partnerships with Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds, alongside deals for BetVictor as official partner to Chelsea FC and QPR FC and overseeing Brit Insurance’s sponsorship strategy for 10 years.
