Hartey Wealth Management boss, Tristan Hartey, has taken up a new leadership role as the CEO of 24 Seven Investment Management, a new start-up discretionary fund manager that he helped recently establish.
Launched just this year and operating from Chester, Cheshire, 24 Seven is an investment manager run by independent financial advisers for financial advisers. With a simple investment ethos and rigorous investment discipline, 24 Seven intends to keep a careful eye on asset allocation, enabling the protection and growth of wealth under its management and remedying the disconnect between fund managers and advisers and their clients.
Hartey’s role as CEO of the business will be handling the day-to-day running of the new company along with sitting on its Investment Committee. He will bring his more than 10 years of experience in the wealth management industry to the table, much of which is garnered from his time helping lead the family business, Hartey Wealth Management.
Speaking about his new appointment, Hartey said: “I am happy to share that I am taking up a new position as chief executive officer at 24 Seven Investment Management. This has been a labour of love and I am so excited for us to be able to shake up the discretionary space.
“24 Seven is the discretionary fund manager that is run by independent financial advisers for financial advisers. For too long there has been a disconnect between fund managers and advisers and their clients. The ultra-long-term view only works for the fund managers, while ordinary investors struggle to think in 25-year time frames. Therefore, we created 24 Seven Investment Management.
“Our investment ethos is simple. By implementing a rigorous investment discipline, a high level of diversification while keeping an ever-watchful eye on asset allocation gives us the opportunity to protect and grow your wealth.”
