Renowned agronomy services provider Environmental Crop Management [ECM] has reason to celebrate again in 2022, having picked up another impressive Green Apple Environment Award.
The 2022 accolade takes Environmental Crop Management’s total of Green Apple Awards to an incredible 25 and builds on the treble success that the company enjoyed at these awards last year.
First launched in 1994, the Green Apple Environment Awards is an annual international campaign which recognises, rewards, and promotes environmental best practice around the world.
ECM’s latest award was in recognition of a project that the company carried out this year, to aid farmers in achieving maximum yield on grass land without having to use as much fertiliser.
A beaming Peter Clare (pictured), managing director of ECM, travelled to the House of Commons to accept the award. He later informed The Leaders Council that he could not have been prouder of his company’s latest accolade.
“We're so proud to be holders of an incredible 25 Green Apple Awards,” Clare said.
“This success vindicates ECM’s longstanding philosophy that profitability and environmental responsibility can go together,” Clare said.
