Career Overview
The group is the third-largest provider of further education in the UK capital, offering a variety of full and part-time courses from beginner to degree level.
Since joining the United Colleges Group as principal for the College of North West London, he has continued this work and made substantial improvements during his time in post and is now chief executive and group principal for all the constituent colleges within the United Colleges Group.
He has previously served as deputy principal of City and Islington College and assistant principal for innovation and enterprise at James Watt College.
In June 2020, Davis appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.
Education
Stephen holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, Financial Studies and Advanced Economics from Glasgow Caledonian University [class of 1990]. He later completed a PGCE in Tertiary Education at the University of Strathclyde, finishing his studies in 2004.
Since finishing university study, Stephen has undergone a course in Strategic Leadership in Education, run by the University of Oxford's Said Business School.
