As the Founder and Centre Leader of Madresfield Early Years Centre, she has not only established a premier institution for young children but has also expanded her impact with the inauguration of Worcester Early Years Centre in 2015. Alice's commitment to excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious MBE for Services to Early Years Education. Her unwavering dedication to nurturing the next generation transcends socio-economic boundaries, exemplified by her two thriving education centres that have garnered national recognition.

Education and Early Career Summary

An alumna of Girls High School Kidderminster, Mrs. Bennett earned a First-Class Honours degree in Education (B.Ed) and a PGCE from Kidderminster Grammar School for Girls (1974-1978). A distinguished athlete, she participated in England International Netball and served as a Student Representative at the Olympics in 1976. Her commitment to education and leadership is further underscored by additional qualifications, including EYPS, Forest Leader, Business Management & Leadership CMI 7, and Early Childhood Education and Teaching.

Alice's multifaceted journey includes a decade of international sports and sports teaching. Transitioning to family life, she seamlessly balanced her roles as a wife, mother of four, and a creative craftswoman. Despite life's diverse experiences, Alice maintained a fervent interest in education, leading her to establish Madresfield Early Years Centre in 1994.

In recognition of her significant contributions to Early Years Education, Alice was awarded an MBE in 2015. This honour reflects not only her dedication but also the transformative impact she has had on countless young lives. As a dynamic and motivated leader, Alice continues to embrace each new day's challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of early childhood education.
